My obvious problem is that the laptop I am using only has a touch pad and the left and right mouse buttons. The manual states that I should use "Middle Click" to zoom to 1:1, "Double Middle Click" to zoom to 2:1 and use mouse scrolling and the control key to zoom from 2:1 to 10:1 (the manual actually says 1:10, but I think that's a misprint). My problem is that I want to zoom in and out on my active work image and for the life of me haven't been able to figure out how. Anyway, there's lots more to learn and it has some features that I will probably never use, however, I've run into a bit of a snag and hope someone here might be able to help. I really like the program so far, especially the fact that it tells me when it's working on the image when there is a delay needed to process (I could never really tell when it was done using RawTheropee, especially on small adjustments). I have downloaded and installed Darktable 3.0 and have been learning about it for awhile now primarily from the online manual. Is there a simple way to get around this and/or simulate a middle click or mouse scrolling or do I have to install a mouse and driver that has these options and/or upgrade my computer? Any feedback would be appreciate! Good luck and good shooting to all. Downloaded from Darktable.I have downloaded and installed Darktable 3.0 and have been learning about it for awhile now primarily from the online manual. AMD A8-7410 APU with AMD Radeon R5 Graphics, 8GB RAM, 64 bit OS and 圆4 based processor.Platform (please complete the following information): Error messages appear, and DT fails to open.DT failed to open after that under both 3.0.1 and 3.0.2 Prior to that, I was using 3.0.1 and received a different popup stating there was a configuration change that would change settings, and I opted not to make the changes. Upon opening Darktable 3.0.2, I receive an unhandled exception error and a popup stating "the database lock file contains a pid that seems to be alive in your system: 11236". I was not able to find a similar report, so help is appreciated
